Terms of Use
socialsunnyside.com is an editorial guide and nothing more. These are the terms on which it is published.
[ what this service is ]
socialsunnyside.com is an editorial guide to eighteen hotels and resorts. It is published for reading. Using the site means accepting the terms set out on this page.
[ not a travel agent ]
We are not a travel agency, a booking service or an agent for any property described here. We take no reservations, hold no deposits, pass no enquiries to hotels and receive no commission. Any arrangement you make is entirely between you and the property.
[ how the descriptions are made ]
Entries are written from published material and rewritten in our own words. They describe how a building handles daylight and lamplight. They are not inspections, not stay reports and not recommendations to buy anything.
[ no guarantee of accuracy ]
Buildings are altered, seasonal sites are rebuilt to new plans and operators change. We check what we can, and the bracket at the end of an entry gives the month the material was last opened. We do not warrant that any description is complete or current at the moment you read it.
[ links and copyright ]
Text and page design on this site belong to its editors. Do not republish entries in full; quote briefly with a link instead. Names of hotels and resorts belong to their owners and are used here only to identify the buildings described.
[ corrections ]
If something here is wrong, write to us through the contact page. Corrections are made free of charge, and no payment is accepted to change, add or remove an entry.
[ liability ]
The site is provided as it stands. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published here, or from any dealing with a property described on the site.
[ changes ]
These terms may be revised. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date below the privacy blocks records when the site text was last updated.
[ governing law ]
These terms are governed by the law of [Governing law], and disputes fall to the courts of [Jurisdiction].
[ about the casino section ]
The Casino Hotels section describes buildings and their surroundings. It does not describe or promote gaming, and it links to no gaming site or application. Casinos are for adults only; in Canada the minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Québec. If gambling stops being a game: in Ontario, ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600; in Québec, 1-800-461-0140; in British Columbia, 1-888-795-6111. Outside Canada, look up the helpline for your own country.
[ colophon ]
This guide has been kept by two people since 2019. One writes the entries and the other checks them against published material; the photographs are commissioned separately. We book nothing, take no commission, sell no mentions and accept no payment for a correction.
